Make the most of the spring school holidays with a fun-filled day out at The Chocolateries Yarra Valley! With FREE entry, daily opening from 9am–5pm and plenty to see, do, taste and explore, we have the perfect destination for families looking to enjoy a delicious day out together.
Pick up a Chocolaterie Discovery Map from the Showroom and set off on a seek-and-find adventure through our beautiful grounds. Keep your eyes peeled for 12 hidden items, complete the challenge and you’ll earn a yummy reward – all completely FREE!
And of course, no visit would be complete without a little chocolate magic! Head to the production windows and watch our talented Chocolatiers handcrafting an incredible array of favourites, classics, new creations and more… right before your eyes.
Spring School Holiday Activities
We’re kicking off the school holidays a little early – for a great reason! From Wednesday 16th – Sunday 20th September we will be hosting Giant Chocolate Lollipop Making Days in support of the Alannah & Madeline Foundation. With 50% of each Giant Chocolate Lollipop sale going towards helping to keep children and young people free from violence and trauma.
$10 per person.
Such a fun hands-on chocolate making activity, perfect for all ages, supporting a great cause and no bookings are required—just drop in and join the action.

Junior Chocolatier Classes & Masterclasses
Junior Pastry Class
For kids ready to take their skills to the next level, the Junior Chocolatier Classes (ages 6–12), Junior Chocolatier Masterclasses (ages 9–14) and Junior Pastry Classes offer a more immersive experience. Held on Tuesdays & Wednesdays in the school holidays, these sessions are perfect for young chocolate lovers keen to learn from the experts. Click below for class dates and times. Bookings are essential, so be sure to plan ahead.
If you’re after a shared chocolate tasting and making experience, the Family Taste & Create Gourmet Bar Workshops are a fantastic option. Running on Tuesdays & Wednesdays in the holidays. These sessions invite families to enjoy a guided chocolate tasting before creating their own sweet treats to take home. Bookings are essential, so be sure to plan ahead.
Little Pizza Makers
NEW to The Chocolateries – little chocolate lovers, can create their own delicious chocolate pizza by choosing a dark, milk or white chocolate base, then add a rainbow of delicious toppings. Sprinkle on colourful polka dots, marshmallows, sour worms and plenty more sweet treats to make a one of a kind chocolate pizza!
Once you’ve finished decorating, we’ll let your chocolate pizza set before packing it into a special Little Pizza Makers take-home box, ready to enjoy at home (if you can wait that long!).
Available Monday to Friday during the Spring School Holidays. $12.50 per Little Pizza Maker. Subject to availability. No bookings required. Just pop in and join the fun!
