Chocolate Experiences for Kids at Yarra Valley

Learn the art of chocolate tasting and making with our talented Chocolatiers at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie. Kids can roll up their sleeves in our fun, hands-on chocolate workshops designed just for them, creating their own delicious treats to take home. It’s the sweetest way to learn, laugh, and play in the Yarra Valley!

Available Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, Saturday between 9am and 12pm, including School Holidays and subject to availability. Excludes Public Holidays. Prepayment is required for the Junior Chocolatier Class. Bookings are essential.

Kids Tasting Session

Get ready for a deliciously fun chocolate adventure! This interactive chocolate tasting session features some of our most loved children’s treats — from colourful polka dots and chocolate snakes to cookies and cream delights, plus plenty of sweet surprises along the way. Kids will also discover where cocoa comes from, how real chocolate is made, and watch our talented Chocolatiers handcraft our signature chocolates, truffles and ice creams. 
$4 per child

Junior Chocolatier Class

Guided by our talented Chocolatiers, kids will create their very own chocolate creations in a fun, hands-on class. Every budding Chocolatier  receives a chef’s hat, apron, and name badge, plus a Graduation Certificate to celebrate their chocolate adventure. They’ll take home 3 delicious chocolate creations and enjoy plenty of tastings along the way.

Giant Chocolate Lollipop Making

In this hands-on activity, each child will create and decorate their very own Giant Chocolate Lollipop using our rich milk couverture chocolate. Kids can unleash their creativity with endless sweet toppings from marshmallows, chocolate snakes, jellies, and chocolate balls, to colourful sprinkles! Once complete, every lollipop is carefully wrapped and packed, ready to take home and enjoy.
